Hi everyone,
Here’s a recent charcoal portrait of Ariel, who models regularly at the studio. I liked capturing the inner strength that she exudes. Please check out two more portraits in the PORTRAITS section and two new figure drawings in the FIGURES section.

Ellarslie Open XXVIII

Sorry for taking so long to update…the opening reception for the Ellarslie Show was awesome! It was packed and there really was great artwork to be seen. I might have to go again just to take more time to appreciate all the art without the hustle and bustle.

Luisa and I in front of Ben’s portrait. It was a fun event (the cheeses were amazing!!) Anyway, if you’re in the area, the show is still on until June 1 at the Trenton City Museum, New Jersey.
